Refining, when is it coming back?

When are you going to enable refining again Lapta? Always enjoyed doing that, good for economy too .

lol there was a 100% success rate so it was removed - im not acutlaly sure when it will be back - there is a gemming NPC which is kind of similar (check out the lady outside the meat shop) (becauseful though she likes breaking my items you can gem gale rings and things like that in there)

The success rate is probably just a server setting, not setting it at 100% chance might help. Gemming just isn't the same, refining is more complicated with the bio/jewelry combination.

lol im always inventing new words >.< its a problem with typing and thinking at the same times >.< (men and multi tasking and all that malarkey )

as to changing the 100% its not that simple - you gotta find it first and i assume its hard coded which would mean we cant actually change it ^^


as for the more complicated yeah it is slightly but all you need is bio and an accessory.

where as the gemming you need a gem and an accessory - so its kind of the same :P


also gemming works on all your items rather then just weapons. so its swings and round abouts.


if lapta can find the setting for refining im sure he will sort it out but at the moment its not a major issues (maybe if it became fundemental to the game it would be resolve alot quicker but atm its not )

on the M2 server i got im pretty sure there is a seperate option tab for chances of refining +1 xx% +2 xx% +3 xx%, then i would imagine it follows suit. but it is vry difficult to get it set right.

lol the question then is... which m2server is lapta using - i know i had a copy of TD's a while back which had loads of cool options (had the pk level barrier built in and the ability to set exp for players those kind of things ^^) buuut it wasnt compatible with the client lapta was using at the time so not sure tbh ^^ need to wait for lapta to make a decisions/give an anwser

if you only use the gemmer for your weapon then boom its similar :P you trade items and weapon for the chance to enhance or blow up the weapon ^.~
