Dear our valued customers,
Due to the recent network outage which caused of massive DDoS attacks, our data center planned to change our network as the following:
1) 10 GigE RioRey units (DdoS Protection Devices) will be adding when they become available to be able to handle larger attacks.
2) Currently, our data center has two networks: Performance and Standard, and we are on their standard network. They will be integrating both of their networks into a single product. The unifying of the network will allow them to remove the Juniper routers from their network, which have been serving as a bit of a processing bottleneck and have been causing some traffic to traverse their core network multiple times. This reduced processing load and increased efficiency of the network will certainly help with issues such as this in the future. Also, this is the performance network which faster and better than the standard network that we are using. We will provide you more information about the performance network when this change is completed.
3) Our data center will also adding additional core switches. The load of the network will then be spread over a wider array of core switches, allowing them to process and properly handle a larger amount of traffic.
Summary, the network change will help us to handle the massive DDoS attacks much easier and giving you a better the network with low latency, low packet loss, and low jitter.
