Hi ppl.
I need a bit of help since i dont know so much about PC"S and here is my problem: I try to reinstall windows serce pack 3 on my computer , pc boot from CD and after chckind setup on a blue screen appears this message :

SETUP DID NOT FIND ANY HARD DISCK DRIVES IN YOUR COMPUTER.

MAKE SURE ANY HARD DISK DRIVES ARE POWERED ON AND PROPERLY CONECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER AND THAT ANY DISK-RELATED HARDWARE CONFIGURATION IS CORRECT.......

SETUP CANNOT CONTINUE .PRESS F3 BLA BLA.

Any 1 know how i solve this problem?

u dont need to boot of a Cd to instakll serivce pack 3.

do u have a AMD CPU?

This is only caused when u are using a SATA HDD.
when the setup disk is running it will give u an option to install a driver from a floppy disk for ya HDD

well almost right.

when u are using a RAID config that is not default you need to install it.

Right in more detail as i couldnt be arsed before
when u instal win xp/vista from cd it installs a **** load of basic drivers for all your devices so ya **** nos what its doing.
Most SATA HDDs where made after win xp so the win xp cd does not include the drivers for SATA devices so there in an option to install the SATA HDD driver from a floppy disk.

When u see this message press F6
“Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver.”

This is the option u are looking for .Make sure u have the floppy disk ready with the driver for your HDD..

or if ya a clever **** like me u can rewrite your win xp CD and include the driver.
i did this for my laptop as it has no Floppy drive and it had vista on

use a program called Nlite if your interested in doing this..

Ty guys.Tried first to integrate in 1 image disk drivers from MotherBoard CD + WindowsSP3 and when i tried to install system tolmd me that driver is corrupted etc.Now i'll try your advices.

u should have the driver that came with your HDD.
If not then type in the model/seriel number in to google and download the driver from the manufact website or an alternative.
