problem loading mir

hello i wonder if anyone can help me i trying to put mir on my pc i followed the guide on web page done every thing the site tell me to do but when i click on the short cut i keep getting this error called (access violation at address 004fb060 in moudle address 000005a4) just wondered if anyone has come across this before and if anyone can help me on what to do i search on the web and it does not really give me any answer. any help anyone can give me would be most apprecited i not say it a mir file problem it might be something else but i am lost now and any info or idea would be nice

update sound drivers

that not a bad idea as pc just been rebuild and it got no sound as the person has onboard sound and cant find the driver so going to buy a new sound card 4 it so finger crossed it will work then
