code 10000 - plz help

I keep having this error: code 10000
I know what the solution is: go in my BIOS, then disable FSB spread spectrum.
That's the problem: I don't know where the Disable FSB spread spectrum option is.
My motherboard is Asus P5B. If any of you know where to look, plz tell me and I'll give you 200 mil prize

lol theres a much simpler solution..

instal the advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI) PC driver and that will sort ya problem out

Set your Memory Strap to 800...

if not work restart CMOS...


if still not work flash bios...

let me know if this works... so i can have 200 mill haha

Do you know where I can take or download ACPI drivers?

go into google type the driver in and there homepage will be oneof the top ones, try there

right ok here we go again.I posted this about 4 months ago its so simple to do

Right click om my computer go to properities.
The system properties box appears,
Click on the Hardware tab
Click on device manager
Find and click on the the + next to Computer

You will see ACPI Uniprocessor PC

right click on it and go to Update Driver

The hardware update wizard will appear.
click on Install from a list or specific location(Advanced)
Click Next
Click on Don't search.I will choose the drivers to install.
Click Next
Find Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC and highlight it so it is blue
Click Next
It will install that driver to your pc

Once that is complete click on Finish.

it will ask your permission to restart the PC.Allow it to do so.
When u have restarted ya pc it will ask u to restart again.

once u have restared the pc again u should have no more troubles

lol it might be quite simply if you know how tbh i think it would of struggled if you hadnt of posted the instructions and even with them users need the confidence to be able to change their BIOS ^.^ some people get nervous. (you should see Pennys face when i sometimes say - im just editing this registry value adding this one and deleteing these 3 - lol anyway if you dont know what your doing its best to follow the instructions to the letter then we can blame pob if it goes wrong )


lol once your fixed could you let me know that this did infact cure the problem and ill take a copy of it for when i finally put somethign together that resembles 101 useful mir tips and fixes. (lol im currently trying to do the important bit of creating a mir based text game for those of us that are stuck at work all day long - but i cant code well enough so im looking for decent templates if any one has one lik Kings of Chaos or any like please let me know )
