Mir Freezing

Does anyone elses mir Keep Freezing , Well rele bad lag that stays for like 2mins and u cant log out or click anything , rele annoying now thinking of leaving if it carrys on and i know its not my pc

yes, i also get problems like using gt to tele to bwsz and on screen i'm still in gt but can see all txt from random ppl in sz lol.

are you by any chance on virgin media? cos this is the cause of all my woes it seems. had 2 new modems, and engineer round who fitted an alternator on my cable cos apparently the signal was too strong and kept cutting modem out. since last new one its been equally as bad so its been escalated to vm network team

i randomly lag and lagout so for me its pretty pointless playing atm too

hmm this seems a little like the issue we used to have on Labyrinth server (early MRLowrate)

Try connecting to a different server and see if you end up lagging out - we never actually managed to work out what was causing the issue we simply moved to a new server provider.

if its the same on each server then im not quite if its MRs fault

and as yo suggested it might be VM causing the issue ^.^

I keep freezing after a couple of mins to, crashes my whole comp, im with bt btw, also when i run the auto patcher there is 1 file which wont download it's 50 meg 1, any ideas?

i get the freezing bug where my screen is frozen but u can still move/keep hearing ur footsteps/mobs hitting u. i think if u hit ecape or minimize itll fix it. it does for me some of the time anyhow.

this happened to me on low rate i just ran the auto patcher and its ok now

solidious thats because u have winamp running or another music player running while playing mir. Once u shut down winamp or whatever program u use it will be ok again.
i think its caused by windows vista.

alright guys thnx for the info but nothing worked . but i found out somthing that has worked for me . i right clicked the mir icon and changed some of the settings ill have to write it down or post screenies for anyone who needs the info .
