Low user count

The user count has gone low.when i started like 4 weeks ago it was 25+ now your lucky to get 25 on.

the way we increased the user base on the low rate (and will continue to do so)

is when you have events dont just come out and say "Event tomorrow heres all the details....."

instead announce it a little earlier and then only release bits of info each day - but do it in a fun way

our first event had clues which if guess correctly gave the names of the items you would need for the event - we didnt tell people that they would need the items for we just told them to get collecting and then gave a new clue each day (this brought a few extra users to the forum aswell as a few extra people into the game for the event itself.)

also i set up a couple of accounts for the Links in my signature so we get listed on the Mir Server Search Lists.

have a click on them and then sign up and then put them in your forum signature (if you get trouble adding them to the signature give me a shout and ill help you out

) ^.^ then we can click each others and race to get to the top of the list

if i find any other sites that can list our servers ill add them to my siggy and let you know

Hopefully with those in mind you can increase the numbers

(we've creeped up from 3-4 to on average 24-29 users - we actually managed to get 42 online last sunday which was a record for us after 2 months of working on it

)

^^ we might have Orphan helping out as well as he is a pretty good map maker by all accounts

(he showed me a map he made and it loooked pretty fine

(it had an event revolving around it too by all accounts :P so if your taking over make sure you chat with him and work out a way to entice users by giving little hints

)

Aye, i've known Orphan/Dem for a while now, his Art skills are good all around, and I know his map making is just as good.

Next time hes on msn I will give him a bell, i'm sure he will be happy to help me with map making

usercount on Highrate is low to.
It was 3 weeks ago 175+ ppl online
These days there are 100+ ppl online

It started when the mir3 server is opened btw

Thats because people have moved "Mir wide" To low rate / medrate aswell.

How many been on today since i cnt get on my computer to play?

player count dropped this time last year.

People are moving to uni, back at school, college etc.

High rate count is 175 at the moment, med rate is about 25, low rate about 30, no idea bout mir 3, so thats 230 ish over 3 servers which isn't to bad.

Would rather have a low user count with decent players, then have a bunch of grifing abusing ****s on the server, and have a player count of 200.
