Free Pet from Soldier NPC gone

As the title the free pet npc in BW Soldier no longer gives noobs a helping hand.
Was this only for a limited time?
It was very helpful.

Yes it was a help in hand for the noobs - i called it "noob weekend" did a few fun events to get noobs on their way - It's gone now, sorry Though I still have it so if an odd time in a month maybe I might add it for a day or two
