ok this isnt going to be a majorly good event but an event non the least!

its simple really... "Find the GM"

There will be a prize for the first player ov each class to find me.

No PKING (only no pk in the province im in)! if you are being pked pm me straight away.

ill be in a province somewer and i shall give clues within game if needed!

Starts at 6pm GMT so it will give you enough time to finish what you are doing.

the prize will be good for higher levels and an insetive to lvl for lower levels!

Thanks for the effort, but you need to be clearer in future about events. >_<

For starters, no-where ingame did you say it was first of each class (you posted this while most people were ingame, and went through the event in an ingame shout), secondly that's pretty bias against Warriors, as there's many more Warriors than Tao's. To make it easier to show what I mean; Imagine there are 10 Warriors and 2 Taoist's, if you're a Warrior you have a 1 in 10 chance of being the first to find the GM, if you're a Taoist it's a 1 in 2 chance. Making this the first 3 people would even the odds out.

The quiz event, though I did like the idea of it, didn't have clear questions/answers. "What is the biggest river in the world?" I answered with "Amazon" and was denied being told it was The Nile, even though that's the longest, not the biggest (so at the least, there are two perfectly right answers). The second question was equally as bad with "What does captain nemo travel the sea with?(drive)" (please correct the wording, I -think- that's right), the answer you gave the Orb to was "submarine", when most of us thought you wanted the actual name or a more specific description.

I want to make this clear that I don't mean this in a "You suck" kind of way, I'm trying to point out what I and others felt, without screaming abuse/idiotic remarks at you (as some people ingame seemed intent on doing >_>). Again, thank you for the time and effort, hopefully with more constructive criticism you'll understand why people find things like that wrong/unfair.

Two easy idea's for future events that ends up leaving lots of people happy;
WhichOne; You spawn 3 mobs, 1 is a super mob that will kill people instantly, the other 2 are one-shot kills. If the person dies, they are out, if they kill the mob they join the queue to go again. The two remaining mobs are killed by the GM and the next person goes, until only one remains. Depending on players involved (if there were 10 or more playing I gave prizes to top 3, if it was 6 or less I normally only did to whoever came first though), you can alter amount/quantity of prizes however you see fit.
Another good one is random spawns... Pick a map that's unused and spawn random mobs, from basic hens to some pretty hefty boss's, enforcing a "no pking" rule is very difficult, but works out much better - If you plan to enforce it, also watch for people luring, as that's generally more trouble than pk'ing.
