Leveling tips?

Hey guys, havnt played mir in awhile and started this server with my g/f the other day. I started a wiz and am now 45 shes a tao and is 43. At the moment i am leveling in zt first and second floor. On most servers once you hit 31 you can go pt with tstorm and kill stuff yet for some reason if i try pt at level 45 with full ac gear using ff etc i get owned lol. Same goes for BDD,PSC,ZT4TH.

Normally by this level zt4th or bd is a good leveling area yet everytime i go there once shield drops bang dead. Not sure if this server has the mobs str increased or what but am i stuck in zt 2nd for the forseable future?

Any tips would be most welcome.

I don't play the server personally but try FFing your way around BC

As Daz said, BC's a good spot (roughly 9k exp per mob iirc), though you'll find fw is your best friend, unless you get pretty deep in there - Don't even attempt EC though, it's very strong on here compared to the cave it's in, I wouldn't suggest trying it until you're well geared and 55+.

Also if you go the entrance of BDD there's an npc, speak to him and choose the "yes tele me" something option, it'll take you to a level 40-49 version of bdd, so you still get decent exp, but the mobs aren't as hard.

Pretty sure it's 40, but not tried it - I thought the cave itself (ie when you just run in) is level 50?

Nope, when you run in it's the ORIGINAL BDD, you have to use the NPC to get to your certain level.

The original BDD obviously hasnt got a level :P

Yeah the npc wont speak to me says im to low at 45. So its either BC or zt2nd. At what level can i level in places like zt 4th or pt etc?

Where do most people level on here at around 50+?

I've got a level 53 Wiz, though he's probably a fair bit better geared than you'll be at that level (stole some kit off my Warrior, lol) and I solo FF bdd.

You should be fine to do RME, there's a quest (basically the RME quest from Euro, you can follow it here) which gets you some VERY good items, you get a helm, a bracer and a ring - They have 6-5 to all stats and are level 45 (think that's the right stats), bracer also has acc+2 on it, helm has +2 slow and +2 acc. They're level 45 to wear and you'll keep them until 60 odd with ease. I did the quest solo on my Wiz a few days ago at level 52 and the only thing that took effort was RME (with your g/f you should be fine), you'll require killing everything twice over for you and for your g/f though.

Thanks for your help. Just wondering i noticed your a warrior, can warriors with a tao combo kill bosses on this server or are wars just used as walls like on most other servers? Also if they can at what level do they become good at it and what bosses can they tackle?

A good war can kill alot of things with or without a tao mate.
