ok my sis got a new computer and its a vista one and she is wanting to play mir she has downloaded installed and ran the auto patcher and she carnt get to the login screen...after the select rate server she gets connection closed any one help me help her get it to work ty

get vista home premium or ultimate it will run fine, you might even be able to run it on business.
you doing right click and rus as admin?

yeah business works fine for mir, never tried basic so dont know about that but ultimate and business deffo work

i run vista ultimate and runs perfect also tranfer rate between my server box running server 2008 is alot better than xp transering to anything

Make sure u set mir to run as admin and job done

It works on my vista basic, i'd say how i got it working but im not that sure.

this is how i did it...
download ftp://ftp.legendofmir.net/Client/mir2client_23.exe install it patch it.
download http://www.mirrevenge.com/autopatch.rar unrar stick it in WEMADE folder run the patch, works fine if you can't get it running you must be doing something wrong or you're not on an admin account or running as admin
