Gem and orb event

OK my idea, would like feed back on, and not "thats gay" "thats ****" give a reason. Any spam will get a prem forum ban.

for 1 hour a night for a week, you will be able to orb, and gem every item in game. (not dura orbs) Gems will not break your kit.

I might even up the rate of the max stats on item to 15 for that hour to.

Lucky orbs and gems, and unlucky orb and gems will not work as during this hour.

Nice Idea, I like the bit that mentions Gems wouldn't break kit as if they did Noobs would have a disadvantage, well balanced Maybe you can only GEM an item up to 3 times.. but an orb 15times, then High levels don't buy out all the Gems and it gives the lower levels a chance.

Like the idea but couldnt it screw up the whole economy as there will be so many uber items around prices could go haywire just a thought ?

This would be a good idea for people to build up some stats. Saying that gems would not break kit renders orbs useless for that time period and I also think that this would have a sever knock on effect on the price of orbs and gems.

For example, this event is introduced say every wednesday at 8pm til 9pm... everyone saves their gems until this event or price of gems goes through the roof in preparation for the super event.

I'm not one to talk out against such "freebie" events as this (cos im skint) but I would suggest it is linked to another quest - to allow you to participate in the gem fest.

this was going to be my point exactly. here is an example. gem a para/pro till its max'd out not hard 4 a rich person to do. this then will make the para worth billions. its same wiv mir rev armour/sword and all other things that arnt orbable. mir rev armour 2b-2.5bil b4 event after event it will go thru the roof.

this will mess the economy right up. its like wen ant cave, winter wonderland, jinchontemple got added and was droppn loads of (l) orbs and items it had an affect.

think u have really got 2 think bout the pro's and cons but all i can c happening is rich get mega mega rich and there will be an even bigger gap. just my view tho.

Yup have to agree this idea would wreck the economy.

Its a nice idea as it would make items really nice, but unless ur rich then its just gonna be pointless and it will kill the economy.

Also i think u need to ask ur self why do u want people with increased stats when a lvl 90 wiz with MR kit has enough stats that he cant be hit by most mobs and can kill them in a few blizz/FFs

I agree it could wreck the 'richer' part of the economy, but I fail to see how it will just effect the rich, gems are easy to get for lower levels.

another bad idea methinks. as stated this would be silly for the extra stats added on already uber kits. it seems ppl already buying tm out of gems in readiness. if you actually think more and plan this it could be done to assist the lower lvls and bridge the gap between norm lvls and uber lvls that you are always trying to reduce.

mbe introduce this but only for items below lvl 60 or so (fck knows how this applies to sc/mc/dc req items - again another reson why i dont think you have really thought about the consequences of such an event) then this may assist those below the uber lvl threshold but will cause higher lvl chars to moan.

if this is compensation for the long awaiting reboot/added caves etc etc then i say dont do it. just sort out the extra caves etc as a reward for the continuing support and voting of your gaming public.

if the long awaited reboot/added caves are turning out to be too complictaed then dumb them down. add a few little changes now (like item stat reviews (ant items), item attribute reviews (zuma helm), gps review etc etc) and then sort the complicated all wrapped into one event/map/cave etc when it works.

dont just throw something blindly at the server were 90% will obviously agree cos everyone likes to add to their kit but which will ultimately spazz the economy yet again. in the short term most will love such an event but wait for the moaning when chars get into the 70s and 80s and are asked to pay 4 bill for a piece of normal kit which costs 1 billion today.

we've been here before several times so please dont do it again............

I dont know Lapta =x. Besides the comments people of already left, this could have adverse effects on the servers ecomony.
