What does sTe ever do? does he have an ingame char or something? because he only pops on for like 15mins every week or so.
he came online before and i asked him for a simple favour (need my mirsword stats added on when i change from 50>60) and he doesnt speak for ages, then says 'sec' then just logs off and doesn't come back online.

im not accusing anyone of corruption, but do people ever check GM's logs?

I'm 99% sure he's a HR player and plays there, from what I've seen of him (no offense to sTe, but this is obvious), he's as close to useless as a GM can be. I've seen him do one event (my char is logged on for the majority of the day and I catch up on things that I miss while afk), recalled one person out of ZT KR (forgot their gt/tt), ran through several of us in our gt repeatedly and spawned a Devil in our gt (pet), I assume to show us it? He then couldn't make it move from the gt, so had to kill it, recalled us inside our gt's room and killed the Devil and told us it was ok to exit... Upon exiting several of us crashed.

So yeah, from what I can see he's a HR player who thought he'd do well as a GM and had no idea whatsoever about how hard work it actually is, saw the flow of pm spam that you get (even on a low pop server like this) and stopped trying. Nice of him to make the effort in the first place, but he should ask to have his GM status revoked, as he doesn't do any GM stuff that we REALLY need.

The reason sTe is a GM because it's one of Boogle's irl best mates. Been best mates for around 11 years. So really sTe is just GM for fun, he isn't their to solve problems if you get me.

That explains why he doesn't do anything GM-related. So basically we have Boogle, who handles, runs and does just about everything with the server, whilst maintaining a r/l full time job and IRC who logs on once every now and then to help out... How the hell is this server meant to work when everything is being dumped on one person, who's not only got a life outside of the monitor, but also got thrown in to all of this without any experience?

I'm sorry if this sounds like someone who expects too much, but I'd heard good things about MirRevenge and assumed that things were handled well, rather than just giving all the work to one person and hoping they could pull miracles out of their arse. -_-

Boogle wasnt thrown into anything, this was his choice. Not sure whats going on with sTe as a GM.

We have a max of 30 players on at anyone time what do you need a full time gm for? if theres any problems post on the forums and ill gladly sort them out.

Vix, I thnik tallos means about updates aswell going slow. Basically he's saying have a ingame GM and then Boogle can get the updates flowing.

I'm sure as most people have found, taking over the running of a server (whether literally in Boogle's case, or as basically the only GM as was my case) with no previous experience, it's a BIG amount of work that has endless extensions, problems and then problems for the problems, as well as no gratitude for 99% of your work.

My apologies for the wording, what I meant was that he's doing it on his own and has very little support (you're the only one that does anything in game bar him), as Daz said, if there was another GM to do Boogle's work ingame now and then, he'd have time to sort server things out. Look at the size of the "Things you'd like to see changed" thread, I think about 5 of those changes have been made because Boogle's so busy (and the company took forever to give him server access, which didn't help).

I don't want a full time GM, but not having one on for 8 hours+ at a time (when Boogle's at work) sucks, because it means we can't get an answer on questions that come up - When's our next event? What's happening with the Halloween one? How long is double exp going to last? Is there a problem with the server, I'm getting lag, a few other people are too, but also there's a lot that aren't? How's the updates going - Is there anything you want some input on? Etc etc etc.

Honestly, up until you posted I didn't realise that posting on the forums got a GM in game, when you swapped my MirArm the other day I had been waiting most of the day to have it done, as I was told that Boogle would be on before 1pm, before work... Listening to his little brother for when he'll be online didn't seem to work out too well. >< You being prepared to come online like that is much appreciated and it'll make things much easier, but I doubt many people know this - Could we reduce the number of stickies and put that up there with "Important Info"?

I agree with what your saying, as for the sticky's i have no idea what boogle classes as an importance so i wont be touching any of them lol. A thread with important info is a great idea.

From next week ill be on med alot more but this week has been chaos due to my kids being off school and tiredness of carrying Laptas brat lol.

That'd be really great, with daily events people become less greedy and feel less annoyed when they miss out on them (the people that missed out on the shield event were NOT pleased, because we get events different to spawns/bring-items-that-people-store-for-these-events rarely), if we had a spawning event every day for a week, I'm pretty confident that the pk'ing/stealing levels would drop heavily.

Then the game would be filled with rares, I did spawnings either every other day or every three days. Other events I did find me's, PVPs, LMS, Collect events (not same items)
