I don't want this thread to be full of hate/tears/whining/abuse etc, that's not what I'm like and I hope that people who post on here will respect that as well, if you want to give Jamie abuse, make a thread for it and get yourself banned, ta.

I'm leaving because, for the first time in a good few years, I actually enjoyed playing Mir, though there's a low server pop and we can't seem to get a GM to stay for long (whilst being active), I enjoyed it because the game was good and there's a nice community here, albeit rather small. I lost a good handful of items (nothing insane, but they represented a lot of time and effort that I put in, and the reward for it) as well as level 60 on my Wizz (went from 54 to 60 in two days of 12+ hours per day leveling, harsh weekend but I got it done).

We've not been shown -any- proof or even evidence that there really was any corruption going on, Boogle swears blind that he's done nothing wrong and no-one other than Jamie/IRC have said anything about it, how do we know this is true? Who cares, it doesn't really matter, we're given two choices; Accept it or don't, stay or quit. This is how you treat children, some of us may act like it sometimes, but that's no reason to tar all of us with the same brush.

I like giving r/l examples, particularly harsh and extreme ones, as it helps get my point across and this post is no exception. This has been treated like an armed robber stealing from a bank, then having the police rush in and shoot the robber dead, as well as everyone in the bank and then telling their families it was because they were involved in a bank robbery. We've all got the same punishment, basically none of us were in the wrong, hell, we weren't even in the wrong place at the wrong time, we just got burned for playing the same game as supposedly corrupt people.

Items and levels won't be refunded, but we get x5 exp for a day? It took me 2 days to level my Wizz, with roughly 24 hours of leveling, even at x5 exp it's not possible for me to get my Wizz's levels back, let alone my Warrior's or the items. This is a big kick in the teeth, but the main problem is that we've been shown nothing for why this was done.

Long of the short, situation handled horribly, everyone got shot in the face for playing the game, poor compensation for 5 day's lost time, hope people don't do anything silly over this. If anyone wants my msn, you're welcome to pm me for it, good luck in future games and ofc life, boys and girls.

I know how you feel tallos. Me and my g/f are level 40 with no items lol. She wants to see what it is like after a few days but it is very disheartning to go from having some nice levels and decent kit to nothing.

I wont have time to play much but atleast 4 days gives me longer to play than 2 days.

It's x5 exp for 48 hours now, and we're getting 5 DestructionScrolls each, who knows, might be back in a few days once I've decided there's nothing left to do for two weeks until WotLK comes out (WoW expansion). Just had some nice tears from AuntSally ingame, which was endlessly funny, then he calmed down and was sarcastically friendly, lol.

Edit: Event's changed again, 4 days of 2 God pets when you want (from npc), x3 exp and some random events from IRC during that, to help get items back ingame. Think I'll stick around for the event, if there's nothing left to keep me here, I'll of killed 4 more days, chances are I'll get bored halfway through and quit again though. >_<
