Default SC on Heaven/Mir Items vs DC.

My Tao's finally 60, so I can see the stats that they get with MirArm on at 60... 7-8dc and 12-13sc, when a Warrior gets 10-12dc - A Warrior obviously needs dc and a Tao (who isn't killing a super hard boss) needs both, which they generally use at the same time, so both are required at the same time.

I can therefore see why basically all of their kit at a high level has both, what I can't even begin to comprehend is why they get more SC than Warriors get DC, then they get DC too??? SC on all Mir/Heaven Items is higher than DC is for Warriors, that alone cries out for a change, forgetting that they're getting DC too. Heaven Items are the best example as the DC Tao's gain from them is exactly the same as Warriors, then they get SC on top (that's again, higher than the DC, lol).

    Sooooo, thoughts?

I dont see how DC can be 2x harder than sc otherwise why are dragon slayers dc40 sabres sc7? dragon staff mc10? etc etc

On every other mir server i have ever played 3dc is the equivelant of 1mc etc

to be honest, tao's need all they can get, they are very good at supportin on here, and in a fight, a tao could not die against 4+ other players, What they lack is an attack that halfs people hp or soemthing, like wars have tdb/fc wiz have blizzard, tao doesn't have any of them, so high sc + dc makes up for this.

    well thats what i think

Hmmm, the point remains that with Heaven Items Tao's get the exact same DC as Warriors, as well as a good chunk of SC. The fact that DC vs SC is quite different removes many points, so thanks for that - I think the only thing remaining that is utterly unfair is items that give stats to every class at once, as it means that Wiz's and Warr's get 2 useless stats and 1 useful one, whereas Tao's get 1 useless stat and 2 useful ones.

Tao's weren't made to be quick killers, they're a controlled killer... Giving them beefy damage output is just asking to make them stupidly overpowered, their damage in Heaven Kit is actually really high (let Obelix lay in to you, granted he's level 70+, but he hurts as much, if not more, than I do on Rar, lol), as is the length and potency of their poisons and curse.

Correct, Dc is by far stronger than any other stat, as it rips ac/amc/shield, anything.
    In these files anyway.

how do you gauge SC vs MS vs DC? its mind boggling coz SC is meant for taos spells (poison, curse, heal, and buff) MC spells are meant for magic damage which I have no idea on how to compare (i think for 100 mc flamefield causes 200 damage or something).
DC is basically the damage you do when you hit using the sword (dc 100 -100 causes 100 damage), and tdb and fs spells are meant to intensify the damage...

    basically what happens now is
    Wiz can kill taos
    Taos can kill Warrios
    Warrios can kill wiz

That is currently the balance of the game... if you change otherwise then it might tip the balance...

Warrior can't kill either, if either play well (if they have enough hp/armour not to be one shotted they should very rarely lose, if they're a VERY good player, they should never get hit by a Warrior). Wiz shouldn't kill a Tao, Curse the Wiz and Puri yourself when they Blizz you, then it's just a case of keep moving and keep Curse/Poison up, once all your pets are dead bring out Shinsu + Deva (highly doubt Shinsu will hit them, if it never seems to, just Deva). The thing that makes Wizards stupidly strong vs a Warrior is fw... It hits for pretty big chunks of life, even on a Warrior, without autorun on here (some servers have it on, to make things easier for Warriors who get fw-spammed) you end up flinching like crazy while they run to the other side of their 15x15 fw field and you're screwed.

A Warrior's strength is being able to kill bosses at a lower kit level, relatively fast and to get their fast (due to SD), a huge problem is group fights... A group of Tao's isn't going to be much difference to one Tao, just you have literally NO chance in killing them without having a few people in your group. A few Warriors have the potential, if timed well, to kill another played inside 2 seconds. A few Wizards can easily kill a few players inside 2 seconds (2x Blizz with fw up, chuck an ff in for good measure), their damage and the amount of space covered by this damage is HUGE.

I think something that'd help show just how this works out, for a GM to have a full Heaven Set on and to put luck+9 on, then do 5 (maybe 10) minute's worth of damage to the trainer mob on each class and see how close they are, if Wiz/Tao beat Warriors, then something is painfully wrong. You'd also need to see how much damage a Tao's poison does over that time and add it on, as they'd obviously poison the target they're attacking.

    imo

wiz should lean more have damage concentrated stats as they are suppose to be damage class

warrios should lean more to have ac amc mr pr agil stats as they are suppose to be tank class

and taos should have both but not as high... as they are support class (also need more stats like DC to help this class level more as adding DC to taos are ok because they cant use it on PVP anyway)
