Yes, (obviously) - I'd like to make it VERY clear that I don't want Puri to be included in that list. I'm also inclined to say "Just the tedious ones", ie ones you use constantly whilst leveling would stay as they are (TDB, FlamingSword, FlameField, MagicShield, FireWall, Fencing, SpiritSword, Heal etc), just to be awkward.
Now that's clearer so your on about the less used spells? Like TU, Hallunication etc?
Or the main spells O.o?

A vote for no from me, it would be a lot easier to have spells lvl quicker than they do but it would take away an essential part of the game. Spells as with exp are there to be worked for, at the moment it is an accomplishment to achieve a certain lvl of spell no matter which class or server you play, by simplifiying the lvling process you are detracting from that and spells would be better just set as 'standard issue' for a character when they achieve a certain lvl.
It would be one less thing to do in the game...

Actually TU is a good example, leave that and Puri out (I tried thinking of more than Puri, but couldn't) - TU is a VERY useful spell once leveled, leveling it is a pain, but the reward for doing so is well worth it... You can divid spells up in to 3 categories; Used all the time (TDB, FF, Heal), used rarely (Hallucination, TelePort, Entrapment), used rarely and are insanely good (TU and Puri).
Regardless what happens a good chunk should stay as they currently are (this is the reason a fair few people object the change, I believe), imo, things such as TDB, FS, FF, MS, FW, Healing, Summon Pets, TU, Puri, Fencing, SpiritSword, CHM, SpiritWind - These are used a LOT whilst leveling and thus do get leveled just by playing, obviously Puri and TU don't come under that, but they're just different to be a pain.
The spells that're the real pain in the ass are things that don't get used, aren't amazing, but are used enough that if they're not leveled, they're not that great.
Mirroring - Utter crap until level 3.
LR - Almost useless at level 0/1, is ok at level 2, is usable at level 3.
Entrap - How often do you really need this? When you do, it takes 5 odd casts at level 0 to work, maybe if it hit a 2x2 square, sure it'd be good, as it is it's pretty poor.
BA - Low damage but is occasionally useful, nothing much until level 3.
Blizzard - Poor until level 2, you wouldn't want to waste the 3s cast/recovery time whilst leveling to do this at level 0/1.
MeteorStrike - Is it ever useful? I think at level 3 it's meant to be semi-good, until then it's again, a waste of cast/recovery time.
SoulShield/BlessedArmour - Don't seem to have any big gain between levels, people rarely bother to level it other than general use. (This could stay as it is, just pointing out it's in the middle).
Vampirism - Useless at everylevel and takes ages to level.
Hallunication - Pretty useless takes ages to level.
EletricShock - Pretty useless as you get better pets (that don't untame) from the PetRental guy, how often do you need to shock a hard hitting boss? And how often does it suck when that fails due to not being level 3?
TrapHex - Almost useless.
I'm aware I'm over-complicating things now, but I think if only selected spells took a change, everyone would be happy - More spells that're worth using at level 3 but aren't really worth using at level 0/1/2 would be appreciated.
Edit: Dall, though I'd agree with you if we were back on Euro, on here the only things that people show any enthusiasm about getting leveled are WarrRev and Puri, pretty much everything else is a case of (with or without a skill necky), chuck as much MP Regen on as possible and leave yourself afk overnight. If that didn't happen, I'd agree with you, but as it is the "achievement" of getting level 3 in a spell is dead and buried due to them being afk level'able.

I thought about SD/Rep etc and although it's not fun to level, it's not a huge amount of points (think it's a bit above Puri), so considering it's use vs points required it's probably best left as it is, once it's level 1 (would take you a few mins I expect, with a Skill Necky on), you can use it, without it failing too often. I'll leave it off for now, though I'm really in between it, as it's got good arguments for either side.
TrapHexagon? Pretty pointless tbh.
