Getting the tm database smaller.

i remember lapta saying that the tm database is rediculasly huge, so i thought probably 1/3 of tm atm is probably gems for under 8k most have no value anymore.

so i thought a solution would be to have another lady (the one in bw that buys ur rings etc for 100k) but for gems and a few other popular tm items that n longer have value, therefore reducing the size of the database and boosting the gem price, and loads of people will clear out tm of the cheapos v quickly and sell them. making it an instant downsize.

also theres a max of 50mil so why not up the minimum to 50k that way people might stop adding every peice of crap they find on a hunt and make em sell it in shop where they should be.

Nice idea, I would say exactly the same.

Have a Gem npc which buys gems, and up the minimum deposit 50k.

But then this asks the question what about Apples, no one is going to buy an apple for 50k - there is a town (can't remember which) which has a NPC which sells fruits.

dont think raising the deposit in tm is a good idea, but deffo add U gems to khin for say 50k. i know it would be very useful to nubs and reduce size of tm. i did look a few days ago and think there were 800 U gems out of 2500 overall gems in tm so not sure how much of a space saver it would be, but would be less annoying when looking for gems when you fancy breaking stuff lol

As always the TM is hardcoded so if increasing the price limit is impossible, I'd assume increasing the minimum price limit is not possible either.

If anything there should be a limit to how many items you can consign because some people use the TM as a personal store (putting in 50 apples at 50k, if they sell then thats fine, if not you can withdraw them and use them - without using up 50 spaces in your store)

Gem NPC is a good idea.

TM is hardcoded APART from the settings in DB which I know nothing about so not sure what you can and can't do with them.

it got me thinking of carboot sales.. how i love carboot sales.
was thinking of a way to incorparate car boot sales into mir.. like swap shop style. but i just cant make it work in my head lol.
