Techy help plssss!!

Guys and gals I was after a lil bit of guidance if possible (nowt to do with MIR)

I have today just got the new ipod touch, bought for me by the bestest wife in the world (just incase she reads this post lol)

The problem i am having at the minute is trying to transfer music across from my old ipod video on to it???

I no longer have the music store on my comp as it originally crashed and i lost the lot - school boy error, should have had it all backed up

Soooooo.......to cut a long story short, is there any bloody way i can get my music transfered from my old ipod to this new one??

And if so, could you explain it in Dan terms, i is a bit of a simpleton.

Any help would be much appreciated.....me love u long time.

Tried transfering from old ipod onto pc, then from pc onto now one?
Don't have one my self, but just a guess

Yeah tried that one, its like once its on the ipod, you cant get the buggers off

Been on the apple web site and it looks like theyve done it so u cant just go to your friends and family and just give them your music because ofcourse ive bought all my music through the itunes store.......ahem........cough

i have seen a back up option once.... but ill b damned if i can see it now lol... altho i got the phone so dunno if it will b same for the players.
