Slow Spell Casting

- My Spells are casting so slowly my monitor is red more than it is normal. What with the lag & Slow casting it is making it almost impossible to play a wizz. It was better before Lapta changed lines

Sounds like your PC more than anything else... Changing servers does not make your monitor "go red".

It's either the colour or contrast setting that needs changing on your monitor or your gfx drivers.

Try re-installing / re-downloading Mir Revenge via the autopatcher, update your gfx drivers and any other drivers you can find updates for (sound, motherboard chipset etc).

Make sure you have at least a 1gb free disc space and that you're not using over your allocated physical Ram.

If all else fails if you really want to try get it working format your PC and re-install WinXP (hoping you're using WinXP) and reset up all the drivers.

Last resort ... err buy a new one.

try cleaning ur pc inside then, think u,ll find its clogged with the killer called DUST

Don't get me started on contention ratio's again. A 3mb connection means nothing. You might be miles away from the nearest exchange, you might only be geting 256k speed and sharing it with 20 other people on the same line, could be lots of things.

Fact is, if it was the server, everyone would be lagging and dieing as much as you're complaining to be.

Try cleaning your PC like Sally said, or reformat your Pc and re-install XP (this should be done at least once a year to keep your optimum peformance), and update your drivers while you're at it.

Other than that it might just be you have a bad line in the location where you are.

virus scan, anti spyware etc etc your pc. Defrag. Do a speed test, ping the server and see wat ur ping is like.

my computer is certainly not slow and doesnt have virus's, my ping on nearly all servers is pretty exelent. my only problem is with blizzard. if theres lots of mobs on the screen at one time you hit the blizz button and it lags he sticks his arm up 3 secs later back to norm but blizz never happend. very annoying!!

def clean of virus spyware temps, antivirus is not interfering with the mir folder.

any ideas?

hmm for the blizzard problem it Sounds abit like you have spell effects off - not sure about the redness
