Anyways what tweaks have peeps done that have helped speed up there game play i know there's a post on old euro forums with some tweaks but im sure theres more reliable faster tweaks out there so come on share :P

dnt really knw many on vista, set my graphics card for optimum performance n overclocked it a little, i go into task manager and set priority of mir to realtime (dno if that does anything) and jus make sure ive got no other programs running

Set my CPU to 'best for performance' instead of 'best for appearence'

- This disables all the graphics that XP or Vista use and turns it back to the old 1998 look (the grey look.

- Graphics (especially on Vista) take up alot of space and can cause the system to run a tad slower than it normally would with no graphics.

Disabled un-used services.

- When you boot your CPU up alot of services are running, half of them or more are pointless, these just slow down your pc - goto Run -> services.msc - make sure you look at the description before disabling any.

Disabled Start Up Programs.

- This speeds up your start up and sometimes their is many hidden programs running.

Increased Virtual Memory

- Don't even full understand what it does, read about it :P

Also one more question did your screen go different colours because of mir its never happened but only when im using vista everytime i have to keep changing the graphics. It does my head

If your screen goes multi coloured (fuzzy) keep going on and off mir until it goes, ALT+tab - I think that's your problem, PM me your MSN address and i'll talk to you.

ye i have tried that but it stays like that... so you have to go onto control panel and look for colour appearance or something and change the pixels and it recks my comp and makes it go about slow. i just want to change the preformance.
