Clamping Down

Decided to try and clamp down on the Med Rate forums, any threads over 2 weeks old that have been sorted and not replied to for te past 2 weeks will be locked unless another Gamemaster/Mod wants them to stay open. hopefully this will rub off onto High Rate and keep all the crap from going into there.

For HR that's probably a good idea, it just won't work for MR though - We often have threads open and unanswered for a week+ (since the last post, not the opening of the thread) and don't get an answer until it's been bumped a few times. The only people (Staff-wise) that answer things on MR are busy irl/with HR, other than Daz and occasionally PureHardcore.

Sounds much better. Maybe if any threads haven't been touched in 2 weeks, but still have an open quest, bump it and bring Vicky/Jamie/PureHardcore's attention to it? Anything that's a month old and still open, yeah sure lock it... Will end up being pointless work for you lot though, if it's spam, just lock it and tell people to stfu.

You'll find that you'll get the best reaction from forum members if you allow spam to a degree, when it's on a thread that is intended to be important or is in an inappropriate section (Marketplace), give people a kick in the face.

Generally i just check on the recently active threads, any one spamming, i keep an eye on them, any more, warning, more, 24hour ban etc.

Old Posts just leave tbh, just do a mods job check up on forums :P

ban the idiots which deserve a ban close the threads which deserved to be closed!
