Something to do with AMD chipsets or having Dual Core + Cpu.

If you're using a multi core CPU set the Mir.exe process infinity to CPU 0 or 1 and see how it runs.

Or just do a search on the forums, there's been alot of threads on this subject.

the funny thing is, the source code has this error but its really random why it shows up, hopefully 2.6 wont have this problem.

Get a decent PC.

yeah it can, but only 3.2 gigs of ram, so no point upgrading the ram, unless your going to windows x64, which kicks ass i love it.

3 gig of ram about 20 quid, windows xp, free from any p2p site

I mean for an extra 30 quid you coulda got the quad 2.5gig, for 65 quid now you can buy a 8800gts which basically makers the old radeon hd cards look like they were made out of lego technics, and by the way how on earth did you get ddr2 ram that runs at 400mhz? i thought it started at 533, well at least the lowest available ddr2 to buy is 533 anyways, so lets put this all into perspective shall we?

lets say you splash out and get 2 8800gts thats 130 squid, chip 150squid for almost an extra gig in total speed, ram ddr2 667 is about 7 squid a gig now, so 21 squid, that adds up to 301 squid, add a sli motherboard with an am2 zif socket, asus do a quite nice 1 for about 55 squid, so 356 so far, hard drives about 70 squid a terrabyte, so lets get one, 426 squid so far, dvd rom and writer, lets be nice and get a rom and a good writer and pay 40 squid, so running total so far is 466 squid, ooh we need a casing, lets get an antec 1200 gaming case ( one of teh nicest on teh market at the mo ) 120 squid, and running sli at least a 650w psu 30 squid, so another 150 squid i make that 616 so far, now a new monitor, you can buy 21 and 22 " screens now for about 140 squid, so running total 756 squid, that leaves keyboard mouse and speakers, lets be nice lets get a nice logitech cordless keyboard and mouse set 30 quid 786 squid total, speakers lets go 6.1 surround, 40 quid kk so grand total for a self build machine that would kick the ass outa yours is 826 squid, you spent about 174 quid more on an inferior machine?
