Crafted blade

I was talking to Mira in-game about this weapon, as the first one dropped just recently. THe stats on this blade are:

CraftedBlade Nec. level 66
dc22-50 sc20-38
Acc + 4

This weapon is a whole 13 levels above that of the Numa sabre and the statistics on it are ridiculously bad for this major leap of levels. Mira proposed that there was a choice of either lowering the Nec. level or of highering the stats.

I personally don't think the stats should be higher by too much, if at all, but expecting a taoist to wait 13 levels to get a relatively crap weapon is silly. My opinion is that the level should be lowered to either 58 or 60, to overcome this fact.



Edit: Just while I have a new thread started. For Penny: You changed the level graphic on Adv. Spirit Sword to "Nec. level 100"!! As I got one last night and this is what it said :P

yup i would have to agree with the level reduction over the stat increase.

i've just looked at the db and there doesnt appear to be any weapons in the 56-59 level range so anywhere within there - pushing more towards 59 so it gives people a reason to level

Maybe add a little holy if you can, because as far as I'm aware;

The crafted blade has slightly better base sc, but the Numa Sabre has holy+6? which is the equivalent of luck+6 for your sc (I think). This makes the NS have significantly better dc and sc, for a lower level.

holy is supposed to increase the damage againt undead monsters, im not sure about the comparason to luck though - i think we need to run some tests

(ooh i just thought if it does do extra damage against undead mobs, warriors should use a holy+ weapon against bosses that wizards can TU )
