virus downloading MR

hey guys , just this evenening i was downloading mir revenge again and as it was installing it says i found a Themia ( dunno spelling ) virus in the mir2.exe file. i didnt hover about to look so i just uninstalled it. it could just be that the one i downloaded is corrupt, but just letting you guys know and if something could be done about it that would be great

dont think its a virus m8, its some anti-viruses pick the mir2.exe up as a virus i get the same on mine just have add it to the path on ya anti-virus program.

i get the same problem but i just turn ma anti virus off before playin mir then turn it bk on after
i had no problems

ive ran the autopatcher , and there is nothing more to download , its just getting the

try running it as a administator mite make a difference and what anti virus do u use if it avg u mite have to delete if of ur system

Could be your firewall.

You wanna add mir2 to the exceptions list on your avg. Which is found under residential shield. Providing your using the updated version anyways, i think you must be as the old one didnt considering it a virus.

Load up your main avg interface > Right Click residential shield and press open > then bottom left is manage expections, add the path for MR to that.

Should work then, if not pm me ill check when i get back from work

me thinks u should get hold of td and get him to rescript the exe with a different coding tbh.with the current exe i use i dont have the problem most are having.only drawback is i cant scroll up and down to pm the last 6 ppl ive pm ed (no great loss).so maybe it would be wise to change it perm till its sorted?

you dont have to disable antivirus or anything

jus delete ur old .exe in the MRfile

Download from this link

and save into ur MRfile and run the new .exe everytime

lyk aunt sed onli prob i came across is u cnt scroll up to last ppl u pmd but thats no biggy
