OK so it goes live today, we have to download the maps which we tele into using an NPC...

Can we have some further info or will it be completely obvious?

Is it a run around and bash things, are these things hard as nails, do we need to go as a team...

Do we have letters that spell things, do we have tokens to collect and change up for santa suits...

Can we have some info prior to the event or do we have to work it out ourselves through trial and error?

^^ i just sent Ares a PM with a breakdown of different bits and pieces i could remember us discussing - hopefully he will edit/add bits and peices and post some info for you soon

[Ares]

The event will contain the following:-

Maps
4 Individual Snow Maps,
1 for levels 1 - 44
1 for levels 45 - 59
1 for levels 60+
1 which will be the map that gets the invasions. You will have access to this map all the time but it will only receive invasion mobs and then reward spawns for completing the invasion.

Invasions will consist of 6 Different Ice Related Monsters and a Big Boss (which might not invade until a little closer to christmas - but you never know)

You will also Find ReinDeer, ChristmasTrees and Turkeys to kill around Mir, Which will be dropping you Present boxes. (These aren't as hard as the HighRate/MedRate event mobs for anyone concerned)

Double click the Present box to get your reward.

Baubles
There will be Different Baubles dropping ingame from both Boxes and Christmas trees, these are very useful - you will need some of these to gain access to the Level Specific Snow Maps.

You will also have a couple of Special Baubles which will need to be traded to one of the event NPCs to get 1 of 3 Special Rings.

There are 2 different kits available in the event which consist of;
Weapon
Armour
Helmet
Boots
Belt
Rings
Braces
Necklace
Stone
Medal

There is 1 kit for low levels and 1 for higher levels - the items increase in stats as you level (like Heaven Items)

There will be an NPC to trade the items from the Lower level items to the Higher level items - at the cost of ChristmasPresents

The event items will be in game until the first reboot in the new year, due to the nature of the items they will be removed so as not to ruin the economy in game.

Christmas Presents can be opened or saved up to speak Joey if you don't wish to open yours.

Mob Info

Reindeer/Turkeys -
you will need to harvest these mobs, to get to their drops.

Christmas Trees -
These are interesting mobs - as in they dont have HP instead they require a certian amount of hits before they fall over (assume your a lumberjack) the faster you swing the faster they fall over.

Additional Info
Santa will be stopping in different towns during the Christmas period to give out presents - There will be a global shout when he's ready and waiting for you, so look out for them.
You will have to locate a decidely chilly gentleman named Joey - listen carefully to what he has to say

Hopefully it should keep you guys entertained for a little while

and lol at the deformedelf comment the reason behind it was because Ares thought he saw Little Elf type ears on the mob in question (tbh i couldnt see them but i dont really look that close) lol anyway :P its a reasonable pet which can be found in Presents :P so always make sure you have all the pet you want before hunting the presents as the pet will be added to your pets without warning (apon opening the present)

Lmao well I could be wrong but it was the nearest thing that I could think that looked like an Elf and being honest the mob in question as an Elf - the name suits it lol.
