why have the forums become so boring?

It's too easy to get banned on these forums now. Unless you want to suck up to lapta, joke about something stupid with a moderator or complain about drops the forums are pointless. Used to be a good craic when players were allowed freedom of speech and being critical of the server was encouraged to develop it.

on a serious note though, there are a couple of factors i can think of - more server have spawned which has taken a few more of the players that actually chat on the forums (i browse some of their forums and have spotted a few lurking)

we dont actually have a massive amount to argue about on the forums - with the servers split the way they are, the partys that were constantly at each others throats ingame and on the forums have either moved to a different MR server or have left all together.

and tbh i've tried hard to keep fighting off the forum so to see you complaining of lack of arguements kind of makes me smile but sorry it doesnt seem so entertaining i could go make a post on the oldskool forums to get some of there members fired up enough to come post here but i might get a ban from lapta so i better not :P

tbh i think peeeps dont flame abuse cuz they dont want a ban. i think a good flame/arguement is good on forums. i think admin shud chill a bit. just my opinion

I'm all for freedom of speech . I'm still very much a player myself so I know what it's like to complain on the forums.

Most of the threads get locked and most of the bans get issued due to personal abuse or offensive comments.

You can have plenty of exciting discussions or arguments without calling someone a tw*t but unfortunately alot of people don't get it.

why not make a seperate part of the forums that is for flamming only then all you people that like a good flame can do so to your hearts content and no1 else has to read it unless they want to.
