Help needed please.

i know it has nothing to do with mir but i need some help setting a password on my wireless router i can connect to it with my laptop and ipod and on the network list where i choose my network all of them are security enabled and mine says its unsecured Any help or information will be appreiciated thanks.

Network connections -> Wireless network Connection -> Properties -> Wireless networks -> Highlight your router -> Properties

Set your password type and pass.

WEP = Numbers
WPA = Letters and numbers I THINK. Could be totally wrong.

ok thanks mate it wont let me set a password it just dissconnects me from the network , ive just set it "hide network and do not let others connect" but my ipod touch still connects so god nose. unless its because i have connected my ipod to my computer and its automatically let it use my internet?

Run -> ipconfig /all -> type default gateway into Internet address bar -> u might have to find out ure default pass and id off google or w/e -> look through the tabs till u find wireless security.
