    Default Put the old pet npc back?

    new pets are pretty crap, the old npc was fine, only the lvl 81-90 was bugged.

    instead of reverting back to something people wernt happy with, just because they arent happy with the current structure - why not fix it?



    the solution is time consuming but it does the job.


    Create xxx number of monsters (on low rate penny did 100 new monsters.)

    the Stats were easy, Start with something like an OMA fighter at level 1 - then take the stats and add 2 additional stats to each individual stat for each new pet.

    so you end up with pets at level 100 having something like 200 AC/AMC/DC Etc this will then hopefully go along way to giving users pets which actually survive in the places you guys want to hunt.


    (on Low Rate we actually have 50 specific new mobs but each has its own AMC buffed partner so we would have omafight and OmaFighterH which would have 5 extra amc added to its stats.

    it shouldnt take that long really if someone sits down and bashes it out.

    So instead of starting a vote to simply go backwards and forwards with the same thing why not try fixing the sitution

    tbh there are 3 different servers and rates for a reason.just because a gm on another server changes his doesnt mean it should be implemented right across all 3 servers.I think as a whole it might be a good idea to ask the community that actually play 1st there opinions 1st then use that as a guild line maybe.Then maybe these issues wouldnt arise.From what ive read in guild chat its bugged on some levels as some dont work or give pets.so it obviously lacked in testing also, had this of been done it would of saved a lot of time for lapta which he could be spending working on another thing for the server.i voted yes although i rarely use pets cos its bugged and is noway an improvent onthe last npc script.

    The pets were designed for Med Rate server tbh, to compensate Ice Temple on med rate has been updated so it's a decent place to level and exp tokens will be added shortly (thanks to Lone), this is to compensate for the reducing of pets.

    On HR Lapta said he will adjust the NPC for HR server.... calm down lol.

    I thought it was going to be on the Mid Server as Orphan is the GM on there now not on the High server as well.

    It doesn't work on either actually.
    When you look at the list there was originally this new one is quite unsuitable.

    I like the idea of the whole thing being looked at again but improved not greatly declined.

    Why can't people under level 60 have pets?
    It means they are not learning anything about having pets so wizards may as well be given far more HP to compensate.

    Taos already have several pets and can now get even more than a wizard can.
    Unless the wizards go and tame pets which are a waste of space as they untame in about 90 minutes.

    1. Under level 60's now have better pets than before. All pets between 1 to 55 on old Pet NPC was pointless. Now levels 1 to 59 can have decent pets and will help them out.

    2. Taoists cannot have more pets than a wizzard. Wiz's have 4 pets, tao's have 3 pets.

    3. Looking at increasing the level they spawn at (starting at level 3+ maybe)

    4. Was designed for med rate, inconjuntion with stat boost npc and exp tokens, this is not included on high rate.

    5. Looks like you don't actually know the npc at all lol.


    Anyway, it was lapta's decision to use the script. It's up to him to change / revert back to the old one. Dont look at me :P
