You have [img] disabled in signatures for us normal users

Yup Img is Disabled for Normal users because those type of signature actually have a constant drain on the server, making it lag when there are a few people browsing the forum - Its due to them being kept upto date with each Refresh of your internet browser.

So if i had it in my Siggy and i started a nice long thread where i had 10 posts per page, thats 10 requests to the server for each time someone starts to read that thread.

Sooooo.... only Mods and Admins can have them

But surely thats only if the image is hosted on the server?

it doesnt really matter where the image is hosted, It still has to request information from the server each time its loaded into someones web browser.

thats just one of the draw backs of real time updates We could go back to the old method that listed character details at specific Points in time (When the server host updated the Link) that way it would only lag when each update is happening.

But those ones wernt as good

What does that Sig mean?

its not an image u can upload, the image is created on runtime from a php script, so there isnt actualy an image saved newhere, it just creates it as u request it.
