    Default Need Laptop Help Plz

K ive got some films on my laptop n i want to watch them on my tv cuz its bigger. So i connect my laptop to my tv via HDMI cable and sometimes it works fine. But sometimes when i plug the cable into my tv my laptop like shuts down n goes to a blue screen n says that there was an enexpected error n crap like that. It's done this a few times now n dont wanna keep doin it. Any ideas why its doin this as it only happens some of the time?

Yeh. If the HDMI cable was pluged into my laptop but not the tv then it was fine. But as soon as i plud the other end into my TV the error would occur. But as I said it doesnt happen everytime sometimes it works fine. Which is kinda weird.

    Thanks for help btw guys

HDMI is totally differant to vga, where is just like a montior, HDMI is classed more of a component, so you need to tell windows you are removing the cable or remove the cable well the pc is off.

I downloaded Regcure to see if it did anything fixed a few errors ( not sure what they were ). Connected HDMI to TV and Laptop and it's working fine. Not sure if it's something ive done or whether it's just decided that this time it's gunna work.

    Thanks for help

If it's blue screening when you're plugging the cable in or removing it, try re-installing or updating your graphic drivers if the problem persists.
