if u just lost it or antivirus deleted it run auto patch will get you the missing files only

first check you have enough space on your mir installation folder
then if you are using win XP or vista and your mir installation folder on NTFS permission double check to see that the NTFS permission are not messed or simple add the everyone with full control permission..
third i can think of is that your antivirus is trying to be smart ass and blocking access to the folder

first try to stop your antivirus normally there will be an icon on the bottom right side of your screen next to the clock and volume control with the anti virus name and if you click or orght click it shoud have a disable or close option
second depend on where you installing mir you need to check free space on that drive
3rd if you don't know what's is ntfs i don't recommend you play with it
