just wondering if its something to do with hidden files on Feking vista.

Cant imagine why Vista would hide the files. Then again, can't imagine why you actually use Vista in the first place :P

it does that because of stupid security things mate duno why.

me mate said it might be something to do with having two mir exe's

Yea Vista is full of security features that actually cause more problems than good. It could be that it doesn't allow the Mir.exe to write .bmp's into its folder?

Thats the only thing I can think of.

vista run every program in low security isolated thread system to protect the OS from being introuded by running application but still u can run any program with full privlages
solution for your problem is when you want to take screenshots just right click your mir2.exe icon choose run as administrator from the drop down menu then screenshots will be saved to mir folder...
