Abuse of Global Shout

There will always be bad feeling between individuals and guilds and that is none of my business. So why is global shout being used to make it everyones business? The constant abuse of global shout by a few players who use it to try to ridicule, humiliate or lie about other player has become normal use. Is this acceptable or should it be stopped? I have no problem with the odd pisshead who has one sherbet too many on a friday night and sings us all a tune but frankly I don't give a toss who killed who in a pvp

Is it just me or is this abuse of global shouting?

i not after getting gobby or any one of his counter parts banned just this king of thing stoped.

on the same note they need to tell lies to give them self gratification.so i have found them some help as they are incapable of asking for it.

I disagree - i think the price is not the issue - 50k or 100k is fine for normal use

I think the solution might be to add a line into Foxy's 'Rules' thread that says something like "Global shout is not to be used for personal arguments or similar" and then GMs enforce it when it gets abused.

Yes alittle teasing is fine... but when Global out spams mobs in bdd it gets stupid and its always the same few people doing it!

Yes Witty you are right - just need one or two eamples bing made and it will fade away but before you can do this, the rules need to include a reference to it or ppl will complain "Its not fair, no one warned me".

Aye but u will nevr find examples each person is as bad as the other... and as far as warning im sure there will be enough complaits from the ppl who like to spam guild chat to warn people...

And for ppl who wana advatise stuff i know price going up would be a pain but tbh i would rather put my stuff on trader than hear everyones elses crap spammed at me... plus u can shout and ppl can pm u with there price and offers on trader tbh

dont no if id kill pob due to his sc, but id giv him a go lol. and Ben used to be able to kill taos - any lvl. also iv seen a few people kill taos - on wars and wizzies, you just need skill.

any tao that just PC's RedPsns and lets pets kil is ****e. u hav advsfb for a reason. I dont even like letting my pets kill people because all you get is "You cant fight, your pets own me not u" But they stfu when u dnt let pes on them
