    Default Boss (in particular Lord) AMC

    Let me start by saying I'm all for bosses not being solo-able. It's fun for them to be challenging and require a bit of teamwork to take down. However, I find it a little unfair that wizards are barely able to scratch the Lords. My MC is fairly good, around 220-390, yet I can FF OmaLord for ages to have his HP bar remain completely full. It's not like I can really group to kill it with someone a - a level 70 warrior with decent kit can and will solo it. Likewise, why would a tao bother to group if he can solo it. A wizard offers nothing.

    A lesser example is BoneLord, which since the change, I found until fairly recently, that it was difficult to even damage it until I managed to get my MC to around 350 odd. This is particularily unfair on lower level wizards that want to be part of boss hunting.

    I appreciate it's hard to balance with the cap on boss HP. Halibel said yesterday when testing Devil that it should be the wizards doing the big damage and the warriors tanking the mob and keeping it away from them. I agree with this. Instead, it seems to be the warriors just do everything.

    i like it that bosses are harder, but the drops are still sucks.
    And the amc on lords is too high lapta.

    all wizzys complain ... taos cant solo the lords... well i can but takes ages to kill with fairly decent sc

    with a wizz its much easyer to kill lords so .... get a tao and a war in a group and hunt 2gether

    Thing is, I don't wanna solo them myself, but I want to able to help. Atm, all I can do is frostcrunch and make it go blue occasionally. It helps, but I can't help but feel somewhat useless.

    I'll PM you sometime let's see how I find it with a tao :P

    if you have tried killing a lord recently on a high level wiz, within a group or not you would know that all they can do is frost crunch. Who wants to group with a wizard that does 0 damage and only very rarely turns the boss blue.

    This seriously needs sorting out.

    I have killed several lords in grps and with a tao there its fine ... yes u need verry high mc to do it with only a tao but its doable

    so only 98% of wizzes are useless then? :P

    What id propose is this - For SOME bosses
    *Bosses have normal AC/AMC/AGL whatever [defences]
    *Bosses have High DC or MC or SC (but not enough to 1 hit, obviously different per cave) [attack]
    *Bosses have a stupidly high amount of HP

    The Pros:

    1) Lower levels can take part (obviosly depending on what cave/boss)
    2) You dont need uber kit.
    3) Most people can do damage so are usefull, the more people you have the faster you kill it.
    4) You will still need a tao to look after members of your group, plus add damage.
    5) High Levels can go solo it but its gunna take them Hours
    6) Nobody will get 1 Hit killed (unless they are obviously too low to be there)

    The Cons:

    1) Its going to be hard/BORING to solo it (id say this was a pro but some wont)
    2) Theres more chance another group will come and pk you (cos it takes longer to kill)
    *but with the good/evil sytem coming in, the good will be fine, and the evil get a big fight? so maybe this is a pro?
    3) i cant really think of a 3rd

    i know ive said this before but i think giving them alot more HP rather than anything else is the answer to group hunting.
    Uber Damage = Doesnt matter how many people you have they will probably all die
    Uber Defences = Doesnt matter how many people you have you still cant hit it
    Uber HP = You hurt it, it hurts you. and if you dont suck, your time spent killing it is rewarded

    The problem is there is a cap on the max amount of HP something can have in Mir. Which is why to make things harder, AC/AMC have been increased.

    IMO the solution isn't making the bosses defences ridiculously high - keep them tricky for sure, but I think if you want to make stuff non-soloable it's about the location.

    For bosses that aren't supposed to be soloable, they can be placed in areas packed with difficult mobs. Or if possible, there could be multiple instances of the boss.
