Mir Errors and Issues

Most problems can generally be sorted by running a Virus check, updating all drivers or reinstalling the game but there are a few tricks and stuff that have been posted by players and Ive collected most of them here to stop people continuously making threads about it.

Mir Freezing/Crashing

• http://files.filefront.com//;8228394;;/ - Download and put in Data Folder, overwriting everything. -Wayne968
• Try leveling a bit without wooden sword and base armour equipped. Just throw them away somewhere. - Koncept
• Run the auto patcher.

Terminate the Program. Code = 10001

• Make sure the IP Address in the mir2.ini folder is correct. Current IP is: 74.86.100.66
• Run the Auto Patcher.
• Close all file sharing programs such as limewire and bittorrent. - Lapta
• Turn off your modem and/or Router and leave them off for about 20 seconds before turning them back on.

Minimizing Mir and reopening to find weird colours.

• Dont Alt+Tab back into the Mir program. Click the icon on your taskbar and use the windows key to close it to try again.
• Make sure there is nothing going on in the background and make sure the Mir Revenge directory in program files is closed.
• "Right click your mir shortcut and select the compatibility tab.
  In the display section tick boxes "Run in 256 Colors" and "Disable Visual Themes" - Lone
• Right click on your desktop and click properties, then click the Settings tab, the change the colour quality from "Highest 32bit" to "Medium 16bit"
  then restart mir and have another try. - Lone

i have just realised what the actual problem is when the screen changes colour. on this computer if im in the middle of mir and say i get a message on msn and ther is usually an orange box on start menu line when that box starts flashing orange my screen goes funny colouors

I think its cause the game is such low res colour and your modern programs are so much higher that the switching between them confuses the graphics card or something.
