any ideas pps on y i lagg lik hell when i got drop view on so it shws me whts on floor but if i turn it off its ok runs fine
now i got me a XPS420 computor so dnt think its tht my graphic card is a nvidia 8800gt 3 gig ram any ideas plz?

The drop view lag is your computer. Dont know why but its definitely your computer.

I think its just the way the game is, I have a 4870x2 and if a room is completely packed with drops I get a little laggy if drop view is on but It shouldnt be noticeable lag on an average hunting area where the floor doesnt get packed.

Think it might be something to do with big items on the floor also

download HH8, export all items from the items file, resize all the items to 50% orig size, open up the itemdn file and import the new resized images to that file overwriting the ones in there and put the offset coords to 7 -44.

I can see that you spent $2,279 on XPS420 Dell. And also you upgraded from Nvidia 8600GT to Nvidia 8800GT. Is that correct? You have 2.4 ghz Intel-Core 2 Quad Q 6600. I think it's why you upgraded your video card. You had 2.560 gb (2560 MB ram). Your new video card added 512 mb to 2.560 gb ram. So you have 3.72 gb (3072 MB ram). Have you tried to upgrade your video card's d r i v e r lately? Write back and thanks
