Good old days 1.4 mir

Someone thinking of starting up a old skool server, and i mean real old skool, hard leaving, only able to donate for 2 items.

The server would start off with the old 1.4 files, no boots belts etc, then after a few months would be up graded to 1.9, then after a few months 2.3, you get wat i mean.

I personally like the idea, just wondering wat your thought on something like this are.

... Why would anyone bother levelling at the start, when they know that a few months from now (or when it goes up), they'd have it piss easy in comparison? I like the idea, but you're shooting yourself in the foot by making levelling difficult in the start, then adding mobs/area's that make it much easier.

Actually you would be surprised, alot of people are interested in this.

This server will be staying 1.4 and depending on player count and then votes maybe 1.9 but never 2.3 this is down to request, what do you all think about that?

Personally I doubt I'd play, purely because I've done so much MMO levelling I don't have it in me to get a decent level off the old exp of Mir, but I know that you'd get a hell of a lot of interest in a short amount of time if it was to stay 1.4. All the best of luck with it, would be awesome to see Mir at it's best again.
