Sad as it may be, Thanks to Mir - I've met some nice people

Well as sad as this may be thanks to playing Mir for so fricken long I can type very fast, not look at the keyboard while typing and meet a high level of Professional Requirements for business admin work lol.

Also, it's helped me gain some knowlegde of putting together computers from scratch, cpu mobo, cases (Both ATX & BTX), etc..

It's helped me meet some nice people who know a lot about computers, some of the most recent ones are Orphan and ezzo, but there are loads of others.

I've met people on line that know a lot about running some of the business programs like access, which thanks to Jamie for saying "Just go **** with it, if you break it - reinstall" lol

Oddly even my managerial skills have improved (running a guild before etc.) was good being part of the server team, even though I ****ed up (couple times) but least Jamie kept with me even after some cooling off period lol. Mainly my communications skills are a lot better and I tested higher in my professional series tests by the government of canada most recently.

Most people know I take the game very seriously, like I'm religious about it lol. I've been diagnosed with a slight case of OCD (mainly due to paying too much attention to details) but this can work in my favour as I seem to have developed near-photographic memory (I remember events like they just happened but I TOTALLY SUCKKKKKK at remembering names, UNLESS I know the name first but dunno the face then sticking the name on the picture is good lol)

I've met a lot of people on the game, I'm actually happy to get to talk to a lot of you, even if we've argued (edddy, Ben, who ever else etc.. lol).

As for the reason for this post; my liver is still failing even after the last year of adjustments and treatments, I'm on a transplant list now and I don't know how much time I have left (well I do because the doctor told me but I ain't saying). I never drank alcohol (except very very rarely, max 3 drinks), I never smoked - cig's or dope, and I've never done any drugs except perscriptions.

Anyways, don't worry about me at all I'm sure I'll get better, and just have fun with your life, after I got out of jail (11 years ago) I had a new look on life. I appreciated everything from the Rain on a rainy day or the severe cold winter storms we got to feeling a nice cool refreshing breeze during a hot summer's day. I hope other people don't take their life for granted.

Well on reading this thread apart from you saying you know how long a Doctor has said you have left I don't see anywhere you say you are leaving Mir.

With determination anything can be overcome, so fight on Dave.

I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed times you have been a GM and for all the help you give in game.

Yes watching my sons on the various games has shown me the skills that are learnt from them.
Wish I could type and look away but somehow I haven't got that skill yet.

I pray you get better, more people are needed on earth like you Dave.
