Where to start?

The lag! well other then the normal lag from any server, there is so weird bounce back lag, and i mean weird, you can run up to 8 steps then be bonuced back those 8 steps, this isnt like once or twice an hour, this is every 40 - 60 seconds sometime more.

The new lay out! looks like it was made by kids, and dosn't even show the map name! you have to put ur mouse over the cords to see the map name.

Chars online. Loads, loads and loads, but i think most of them are 2 - 3 people playing 1 chars, as there seem to be a lot of people stood a few steps apart, not saying much, playing as if they are being controled by 1 person.

LEVEL 27 or 28 cant remember tao already. The server has been up les then 24 hours and there is a level 28 tao on the server... funny thing is they were looking for a group to hunt in the mines lol.

When i did get in game today the GM were spawning loads of mobs in game, which made it unplayable. the mobs were main sub bosses, and they were being spawned just outside BW gates.

I am not a mir play, havent been for years, but i would say that the server at the moment is unplayable, and when it gets to the stage of being playable, the level gap is going to bu huge. So get playing now if you want to play.

and sable before you even think about quoting my post, i know its only in beta testing, i am not putting down the server, just pointing out wat i have notcied in the 20 minutes i played this morning,

The thought of going back to a lower rate server with lag and oldskool stuff that I got bored of about 7 years ago depresses me.

I'll stick with Mir Revenge. To me it at least feels like a "progression" of Mir.

Meeting a load of old faces which i think is the main attraction for me at the moment.
I loooove their quest system, completely breaks up the monotony of leveling.
The bounceback isnt thgat bad for me but its horrible for some.
I love the dungeons, you actually feel like you in a dungeon, we had like 4 of us in deadmines and on respawn we had to run like hell to survive, was amazing fun.

Bad things are well, the interface is horrible. The way PMs are set up is horrible too if you have 3 people PMing you repeatedly and you trying to reply youll get frustrated.
Alot of the dungeons are closed, BDD, ZT, Parts of BC and PT you cant access.
I hate what theyve done with the levels, its super fast to get to level 30 but at level 30 you are basically what you were at level 18 on Euro.
The GMs are completely incompetent and cant give adequate directions to an event that they themselves are spawning.
Drops are wayyyy too low. Pots barely drop from mobs and like 100gold will drop from 1 in 5 mobs. The most cash ive had was like 12k which was then spent on MP pots for the next hunt.
I feel like im in nooby kit for way too long, im level 28 at the moment and it didnt take me long to get there, but the feeling i have is im level 28 I should not be running around in light armour and trident wearing a magic helmet and those crappy mc0-1 rings from shop.

Things im mixed on
The user count is massive, theres been over 1,000 people online in the last 24 hours. It was same yesterday. You can tell by how many noobs are in the noob guild that gets wiped everyday at 8pm.
The quest rewards kinda suck, theres one quest where you have to go to PI which is 2k gold assuming you run to sailor, then you go to an NPC in PI who gives you 1,100 gold and sends you back to SV. So you have to use another 2k gold to get back to border and then travel to SV. Its not planned out well.

So long as all my old euro friends are playing it Im gonna play it with them. I think its has potential but if you are happy here on Mir Rev its really not worth a look as you will likely hate it.

nice post tbh. The 2 things that will kill the server.

1. Gm /staff doing stupid things still!
2. The massive amount of players / lack of mob / amount of lag.

agree the lagg just aint worth it.. i played euro from just after beta in almost 5 years i was lvl 46 on a tao and lvl 45 on a warr .. the kit was crap lol i refend some of the best weps ..made a dc50dss and a sc24 fan and a sc26 SS .. they were fun times but i played MR i had kit i dreamed of on euro in 2 weeks .. this game progress's u can make good cash / lvls and have a gr8 laugh. mr all the way. wont ever got bk to a slow lvlin euro type of server again.
