That labyrinth server, which was adveristing on my ***ing fourms, has now been shut down! Due to breaking copywrite and trademarks owned by JDC gaming (mir revenge).

So a word of warning to any one else who wants to put ads on my forums.

DONT do it.

I dont care about about any other servers, but i spent a lot of time and money and effort getting my web ranking, and people should have to do that same tbh...

oh i forgot the funnest part of it all.

The hosting company forwarded the 1st email on to the dude running the server, ghost, so he gave me all this abuse, claimed he had access to my VPS. (VPS, do i look like a muppet, VPS are for muppets who want to run a server and cant afford a dedicated server), any way , he claimed to work for hosting company, and has a twin quad core server with 24 gigs of ram from said hosting company LOL, and that he would never get closed down as he worked for them blah blah blah. oh btw he was on a shared VPS (Virtual private server) which cost about 6p a month.

Gotta love people who come out with a load of bull**** to try and scare you, I always go wildly over the top when they do that, seems to work well... I'm contemplating the use of "Yeah, well I know the Queen, one word and you're locked up for life", though I'm trying to work out just how retarded they'd have to be to think that is true. With the general IQ of idiots like that, I think it might work actually, feel free to steal it. :P

I'm not sure how it works any more, but when Euro was up and running, yes ALL private servers were technically illegal, though several were up and running for years (only one I know of was P69, I know MR's been around for yonks as well, not sure how long though), I'm certain around the time Euro had 'New' Staff take over, they shut a few private servers down and made a big deal about informing us, being the gullible fools we were, we believed they weren't utterly incompetent... Look where that got us! Lots of wasted time and money. Even if MR/P69/etc are illegal again, I highly doubt GN (or whoever is in charge now) would have half the IQ required to get it shut down, lol.

I use closed source software (nothing to do with wemade or GNonline)

The real only issue would be the 6 million odd images (all the will files etc broken down in to single images)

But for them to even get you in to court they would have to setup a UK office and UK company, then prove without resonable doubt that i am using there files outside of there guidelines. But as the guidelines would have to be rewriten for there UK company then they would be useless! So unless i setup a server in koran, or moved to koran there is nothing wemade can do.

The funny thing is wemade cant run a legend of mir server in the UK without me say so.
