Need Clarification

ON Griefing,

what do ppl class as griefing?

only ask as ones person assumption of griefing could be someone elses horse play..

for example:-

1 person pking another over and over again

or

1 guild pking a player over and over again

to me thats griefing

what do you all think?

grief is such a crap area lol.

i never bother with worryin about grief... as alot of it could be easily argued

but i would say huntin the same person down over and over...
tryin to make ppl thrust/hit archers by stacking....

Running near people fighting with Low HP/No Kit/Low level so they murder. That is the big one i consider grief.

Then there is things like Poisoning/Curse then running into SZ and repeatedly doing this just to piss people off.

Im sure there is a thread someplace on this forum created by Halibel about grief, try looking.

Causing someone to hit a player they didn't intend to (whether they kill them or not is irrelevant), or a guard of some kind, is grief in almost anyone's book.

I'd say (in MOST cases) that killing someone repeatedly is grief, though we're talking 4+ kills inside an hour, maybe with a cap of 10 a day, if it went much further than either of those, I'd personally consider it grief, unless there was a reason for the kills. Anyone who used to play on Phoenix 4~ years ago will remember the endless threads I had after me and the ingame tears because I'd not only kill the person that had given me reason to, but their entire guild/group, until they stopped coming back (oh the days where a Warrior in decent dc, with a Para and an ok pc/conn could rape everything in sight )... This happened a lot when a person got nasty with a friend/guildy for a poor (or no) reason, or attacked a friend/guildy, I often continued to hunt the person (and their guild) until I either got a satisfactory apology, or they were kicked from their guild. Soon stopped a large portion of idiots from picking on the low levels in my guild. ^^

Here is wat you do to avoid greif.

1.Dont fight in town, just pvp rooms.
2.If you do fight in town and u see the same noob running around trying to make u brown, stop fighting till that person gets bored.
3.always make sure you have a TT/GT/STT on u so u can get away if you are being griefed.

Grief is...
When you try and give someone PK points or making the game unplayable for someone else.

Guilds standing outside caves in groups and killing noob is grief and the whole group will get banned if caught.

Running around town trying to make people brown.
Running around town in next to no kit so that you hit and die in 1 hit.
TT'ing/RT'ing/GT'ing and not potting so that u die.

This until now I have problem comprehending. I don't PK. But most of 20 levels higher than me players PKed me upon onsight meet. No problem there as it is part of the game, however, during those time, i can't even pot, Rted, Gted cause of them 1 or 2 hits capability.
And during the rare occasion that i was able to Rt or Gt, you can't outpot the poison and you die. That's Grief??? Maybe if there is a way that you get PK point only while your opponent is in sight.

On the subject matter, I was blizzed by a powerful player and when I was able to GTed probably to her surprise and mind too , my hp continues to go down very fast. Is blizz skill carries poison too or there is another skill I am not aware of?
