skill books

ok fair enough skill books being rare, but this is a bit silly not 1 single ff in game used by a char, the person that got dropped has left game so i dont recon he had in 1st place,
some skill books have dropped, thats only because ppl have only been hunting like non stop,

all i did was pm hollywood saying that skill books need to drop a bit more and he kiked me off the server for demanding things.
ive now lost 200gg worth of frost tigers, which i probably wont be getting back, but thats not important.

i advise that skill books start dropping more coz its ok none dropping at the beggining of a server but ppl are like lvl 65 now and being lvl 65 with no skills, you may aswell be a noob as u cant pk or nothing, only book ive seen actually drop is entrapment and its not a major spell...

Your post makes no sense at all. People are level 65..? Thats like level 25 on normal servers, or have you not noticed that the exp is "extreme"ly high here? I like having the skill books rare enough as it gives something to work for. You have everything easy enough as it is, why be so greedy that you want more?

The books will come in time, the server is only up.

That is a lie - Be honest with yourself at least. Amongst other things "Might aswell be level 0" "This book sitatiuation is a Joke, whats the point".

Not to mention all the pm's you have sent me in the last couple of days with your demands. if you dont like it, either suggest on forum or leave - It really doesn't bother me which.

Iv put nothing but hard work into this server from day 1 and I get a comments such as that - and saying situations are a "Joke". I really do not need that.

regarding the book situation, it does seem that warrior+ tao books are dropping but wiz ones are NOT. only 1 ff book in game as far as im aware and that was donated for when u could buy them.

And as for telling ppl to leave server when they point out the lack of skill books dropping thats hardly mature is it?

If it was brought to my attention appropriately without childish demands and piss-taking I would review the situation and make the relevant changes.

it feels like its back in euro days when Eshock cost like 400k! (when 400k was like 25mil now :P )

Kong had FF not sure if it was bought or not.

I know that Deva/Curse/Rage/TDB/Meteor have all dropped.


holly is in the process of adding AdvFencing/Soul/Spiritsword so some of the books that you know and love arent actually in the game just yet

but i would still want the books to remain nice and rate

Oh give me a break, did you even read Holly's posts? Tetro was being a pain in the ass and wording his 'requests' HORRIBLY disrespectfully, he's lucky Holly didn't give him a mini-ban, I honestly would of for an hour or so, if he'd of given me **** like that. When people give you crap, rather than making a sensible suggestion, do you take it, for days and days, then perm ban them? No, you put them in their place early on and let them continue to enjoy the game, if they have the maturity to learn from their mistakes.

Yes, books ARE rare, yes, this IS a good thing. I've had the first and second CHM books on the server drop, I'm level 53 (could easily be 60 by this time tomorrow, if I wasn't busy as hell) and haven't got TDB, LR, BA, Entrapment, Rage or ProField, yet I do fine. That's fighting mobs as well as people (cheesecake and Nymph can account for this <3).

Holly's a reasonable person, ask him for something in a friendly and constructive manner and if he agrees, he'll probably make the change there and then, I doubt many of you understand just how much time and effort he's put in to getting the server to this point, let alone the work he has to continue doing just to keep it up and running, then there's his future changes. It's not a small job, lol. Cut him some slack and try using this amazing word, that will get you much further in life; "thanks".
