There's the possibility that it'll be merged with Evo, as the changes between HR + Extreme and HR + Evo don't really clash with one another, it'd be Extreme as 2.6, with a pk'ing orientation and a lot of additions that are in the Evo section (no PA, making slow a less easily gained stat, etc etc).

Again, this is just a possibility, it depends entirely on whether Jamie wants Extreme back or not.

there all this talk about needing a gm to be on once a day is BS all we would need is for someone to be able to sort a problem out within a reasonable timeframe.

also i would say do not promote another "normal" member of MR to be the gm use someone that is already on the staff list and is around enough to sort something out.

Name one, they're all busy/going to be busy in the very near future.

Jamie/Ezzo/Vicky (IRCHEATING) all manage HR. Ares/Lone/(swear there's another ><) all manage LR. Sekhmet/Renatus/me will be managing Evo.

Edddy almost murdered someone with a cardboard dss after GMing MediumRate for a month or two, as he didn't know just how overwhelming the pm's are (namely the negative ones), stress overload, lol.

You don't want a server to be running with 50+ people (if Holly had kept up with things and didn't disappear without a word for days at a time, it would of went up to 100 within a few months, I reckon) and no GM online at least for a good portion of the day. People were stuck being griefed for hours (even days), even then no action was taken, you need a GM online for at least a few hours a day, every day, otherwise problems mount up and people get sick of waiting, then quit.

It really is rather insane how many pm's can come in at once, especially when you do something questionable. MediumRate was full of negativity, which isn't nice for a new GM to be confronted with, even if they're doing a great job, they'll get the brunt of it.
