Are birthday present pets the cause of server crashes?

seems everyone gets loads of pets then the server crashes, fun but annoying. hopefully it is just the host being flakey as i would hate to see this event stopped

Well all the Bday pets we had wasn't making the server crash so why should these?

erm! i`ve hunted for gifts for abt 15 hours since the event started, the only pet i`ve got is a ghost! and so for loads like me how come this will crash the server ?
i think it has something to do with the hosting company tbh not the event.

I had a mad collection yesterday, turtle, monkey, woomataurus and a wombat.
Had to go out for the day, came back and server down so never even had a chance to test them out. Still don't see they are crashing the server though.
The company seem to be giving a bit of a poor service to lapta recently.

Sounds like a worthwhile question, but I highly doubt it's down to the pets; Unless I'm mistaken you'd experience lag, worse lag, unplayable lag, crash, if it was down to the pets (as they'd gradually become too much for the server).
