Laptop advice.

God I hate posting off-topic things here, but barely anyone seems aware that the Off-Topic section is there, let alone uses it.

So far the only place I've found that offers affordable laptops that aren't wank, is the dreaded PCWorld. So far I've found these two, First and second - They're only affordable due to being refurbished though, which I'm not fond of (and they're from PCWorld, so... Lol).

Ideally I don't want to spend much more than £300, £350 is my limit but if it's an insanely good deal, I might be able to bump it up to £400, though if I wait a month it can be £450 without worry. I want a dual core non-Celeron, 150gb+, 2gb+, semi decent gfx card laptop, ideally capable of running WoW at max settings without dying (so those speccs are more than adequate, as long as the gfx card is fairly good). Any help is much appreciated, as I've never bought a ready-built pc/laptop before, I always buy my own bits and put it together myself, so I r nooby in this section.

TBH, get a mobile phone contract and get the free mobile phone.

i'd probably say do what lapta suggests - not sure if carphone ware house are still doing their deal but if you end up getting an Iphone for £30-40 a month and get a free laptop with it it would be not bad tbh

(lol which reminds me shirley wanted an iphone.... time to get me a free laptop )


although failing that i think Dell has a deal atm for a reasonable laptop for £400 (inc vat) have a lookie at their site

Never been a fan of Dell, but I'll at least skim their sight, though my phone is in dire need of an upgrade and the idea of getting an Iphone with a laptop is very tempting - I assume they come with lots of bonus goodies that contract phones bring (free minutes/texts/internet time)? Going to go through Carphone Warhouse's website now, can't see about it in store until sun/mon though. >_<
