ok there is supposed to be a quest in game alraedy to change your faith from good to evil or vice versa but i don't know where the npc to start the quest (some people said they found it some people said it's in endore but nothing confirmed) so keep looking for it or hopefully someone nice would post a hint here

the NPC is in endore but he says .........
" I see you are already good of heart, there is nothing i can do for you"

then a link tha says " be good"

but it does nofin.....

tbh most of these "npcs ingame" are just rumours or scriptless, i honestly doubt jamie has actually added/made scripts for any of them. some are mysteriously "found" months after being ingame following a "reboot" others are obviously "ingame" but are too tricky to "find".

tbh i was gonna post what has actually been put ingame over the last month or so since bday gifts changed to a sh it skin. i found so many posts saying this is ingame, reboot will do this, new caves etc, but tbh i've not noticed anything "new" or different or mbe i need to run patcher?

any ideas.

not a pop at anyone but forums are hardly the place to learn what has happened ingame recently, what with the lack of communication or statements which dont seem to occur...tbh they seem more full of trite crap about hackings, griefing, self obsessed random wank etc etc - bit dull imo as rarely are things answered and when they are it is either nonsensical or doesn't actually ever seem to be "ingame" when detailed thus ><

true, most of the new things are just coming out of nowhere but no actions has been done

thats why whenever i see, New things being said on forum that is coming out, im not really suprise

Run it once a week, even if no new updates have been posted, you never know what you've missed. Jamie isn't exactly communication central I'll give you, so keep yourself updated, rather than relying on him to post.

As far as things not being added when Jamie says they are, it's more than likely due to him thinking he's done it and has more than likely gone and put them in our new 2.6 files, rather than HR, or something equally as silly, lol.

If he says something is ingame and no-one can find it, or it's scriptless/broken, poke him on msn sometime and ask him, I'm not sure how many people have a clue about how npc's work, but for those of you that don't; Imagine my posts from an entire week put in to a Notepad, then put a 'p' in the middle of one paragraph, that can kill the entire npc so it doesn't work, you then have to go from start to finish to find that one digit that's wrong.

why would you need to run the auto patcher to see new scripts prov? i thought u mighta realised now that patching has nothing to do with NPCs.

NPCs are server side entries and nothing to do with client side or client files. auto patching only effects skins, maps and sounds (well atleast for 2.3 files as the exe cant be edited)

if a new npc has been put in your gunna see it. if it doesnt work then thats jamies problem, nothing to do with your files.
