i cant seem to get mir working on my new laptop got everything installed and mir comes on i just get connection closed

will mir not run on vista ?

runs perfectly on vista ultimate, checked firewall ?

also did u run the autopatcher ?

yeh i turned antivirus off and windows firewall and ran autopatcher and installed mir 3 times

instead of clicking shortcut go into folder, u deffo online? allow mir on firewall too

yea go into the mir folder and try it there. if it works then move it to desktop and delete the one already there.

For some reason Vista seems to hate shortcuts to certain programs/games, gladly I've had Vista for all of about 2 hours before I upgraded it to Windows 7, so I'm only going from previous people's experiences. I'd suggest getting a Windows 7 upgrade and just save yourself the hassle, mucccccccccch better Operating System. ^^
