Things you must do to play the server. And info on the server

Well for now only people who have transfered there accounts over can play the server.

If you have had your account transfered over then you need to link your account to a web account.

To do this you need to sign up to the website. Click here to sign up

Once you have a web account you are able to link your game account to your web account.

There are many things you can do from your web account, and it will be the only way to change your password and personal details.

You will not be able to log in to game if you haven't linked your game account to your web account!

If you use to play High Rate but never got your account transfered over, then here is your chance to get it transfered before the server goes live.
To get your account transfered over you need to email me, admin@miremails.com with the following details.

User name.
Char on the account.

Once we get your email we will transfer your account over to the new server. You will not get a email telling you this has been done. You will only be emailed if there is a problem with your account.

When the server is back up all players will have all there items and magic and be in the same place as when they logged out. However all added stats have been removed. We are unsure weather the added stats will be added back on to items, be there will be more news on this when the server comes out of beta.

As the server is in beta mode, there maybe rewinds due to expoits we have missed or bugs that effect the game majorly. But hopefully this wont be the case.

Once we are happy that the game is in a stable state then we will allow new accounts to be made.
Just because new accounts cant be made, doesn't mean that new characters cant be made in game. At the moment you are limited to 3 characters, but we might change this to 4 characters at the end of beta.

Why wouldnt the game be unstable? Well this is the boring part but made simple :P
The new files we are using are based on old 1.9 files. We have bought these files up to 2.6 standard the best way we could. The best way to explain this is by looking at a car.
Everyone knows how a car works, it move backwards and forwards, turns left and right, and if u know how to drive, then you will know how to make it do these things. Try building a car with just the frame! No manual! It would be hard.
So the new files are our ideas on how best "the car" should be put together. The files do all the basic functions of mir, like load up, allow you to do most things, but there maybe huge bugs along the way, then again we might of got it right the 1st time (doubtful). this is why we need this beta testing.


We have kept the files as close to 2.3 as we can for now, but there will be some major changes on the way. Most game effecting changing will be put down to a vote on the forums, as we would like as much player input as we can get.

If you didnt know you can download the client from the website, and if you have bad download speed you can order your free DVD from the website also.

1 problem i know of that is a major issue for me and other ppl, is the load up screen fixed? i and others had the issue that it wasnt loading up until the login screen had lagged out? Cheers mate!
