possible fix 4 black screen prob

rite 1st i copied the contents of mir revenge and put it into a folder on my desktop still had same prob then (so mite not have 2 do this) i delted the mir exe and ran auto patch 2 get it bk and from that i could change the run capabilty mode and put it into windows 98/me and click on box 4 256 color and after about 30 secs 2 a min it comes up. dono if i got a new exe or not but i dont think i could do that b4 i delted the exe but not 100% sure. my pf usage doesnt go sky high in this mode so it dont cuase it 2 crash/not responding

also internet download manger seams 2 affect it aswell but i dont no if thats just my pc as alltho its a decent pc theres fkall ram init also loads up quicker on first attempt after restarting my pc

at the loging gate it looks like ive got lag cus i type info in and it comes up a few secs later but once im on it all runs smoothly

right simple step by step instuctions 4 u all

right once u have downloaded and installed mir onto ur computer go to C:\Program Files\Mir Revenge open up kaoripacthgz delte the text file and put in this in

save and close it

then run the auto patcher to get 2 new files (which you should of allready done)

then right click mir exe go down to properties then click the tab compatibility click on run this program in compatibility mode in then select windows 98/windows me
just below that it sais display settings put a tick in the 256 colors click aplly then ok then run the mir exe and the loging in gate should come up after 30 seconds to a min

this worked 4 me so hope it does 4 everyone else

same works ok after about a minute, what do u think causes this problem then? would be nice to just be able to play it instantly without having to wait every time. i never got this problem before when i used to play. the mysterys of life

its a problem from the server or maybe you guys havent got the right patch yet...
all i can say, is that fix for black screen ( for people who could login before but waited too long ) WORKS 100% its perfect and reduces the time you wait for the server to come up from 2 mins to 30 seconds.
