you will require port fowarding from the router to enable incoming connections from outsiders

generally most of the routers nowadays support this through there web interface

127.0.0.1 was always the default ip on the 1.4 mir files when no1 new how to change the server names so they were called ktest... Lol

on 1.4 files for private servers u had 2 notepad files for ip's and 1 for ftp. i think the in mir.ini or mirsetup.ini it was


blah blah
server name: ktest
server ip: 192.168.0.2
blah blah
blah blah
host ip: 127.0.0.1
blah blah

was summat like that for 1 of the files.. not that u need these now, unless u wanna play 1.4?

this would mean. no Prajna map, not tdb, ff, fd, lr, entrap, curse, pois cloud, hallu, deva, mirror, and cant be arsed to remember the rest, maps u would have would be as follows

Bichon Prov
Serpant Valley
Mongchon Prov
WoomyonWoods
Tao vill
NOT:-
Castle Gy
Past Bichon
Prajna Vill
Lost Prov
Evil Prov

192.168.1.1 or 2.1 or 0.1 are the most common private ip address's assigned to routers.
for your home network ur router will take the addy 192.168.1.1 then your other devices take the addys 192.168.1.2, 1.3, 1.4 etc

127.0.0.1 is the address normally assigned to the virtual loopback system of a pc
basically its just used whenever a program needs access to a network service running on the same pc as it.
when the files where set to that then only u could play them, 2 host it for others you had 2 set it to your ip address and then give others ur ip address.
